MagiCam Plugin - v1.0 BETA
Linkman2004 just released a new camera plugin, as a successor to his popular Advanced Camera plugin. It seems to have everything the old plugin had, plus a few more features and a few less bugs.

Another Construct version, with the usual smattering of bug fixes and updates that we’ve come to expert. A final version 1.0 release has got to be just around the corner (unless they add another digit to the beta versioning - 0.99.991, etc.!)
A little slow posting this link. I’ve been busy recently, so blogging has been a low priority. I’m hoping to start posting more frequently now.
This version is mainly bug fixes, and chatter on the forums seems to suggest that version 1.0 is close at hand. Fingers crossed!
A new version of Construct has been released, getting another few steps closer to the mythical 1.0 release. This one has a collection of bug fixes, along with some mysterious and interesting sounding additions - most notably a 3D object plugin, which will supposedly load OBJ files, and a Sprite Ribbon, which can be used for trails.
Another great pixel production from Minor, this time in the form of a tutorial/example/game - a cute little Sobokan clone called “SkullKoBan”. It’s probably the most heavily commented CAP file I’ve ever seen, with nice use of the Grid Movement behaviour, private variables, and Lucid’s SpriteFont plug-in. Definitely a must see - click on the title above to go to the forum thread.
Construct user Minor has posted some videos of a game he has in development. It has a really interesting remote drone mechanic, and some very cute 16*16 graphics. The videos so far show some of the gameplay mechanics, including a nice visual effect to when the drone goes out of range.

Construct user Uberlou has started a very nice tutorial for creating a 2D scrolling fighter using Construct. The first lesson introduces basic player controls, including attack caching and simple combos. The cap file is very nicely organised and well commented, although some of the design decisions don’t fully make sense to me yet. Hopefully it will all be explain with time.

Construct user abhilash2863 has begun posting a nice tutorial series for creating a scrolling vertical shoot ‘em up. He’s done a really nice job with part one, explaining the various behaviours and properties to use in such a game. I’m looking forward to seeing how this series progresses.
Ashley has posted an update to Construct, fixing a variety of bugs and changing the way the Ball Behaviour operates when an object is trapped. One step closer to the mythical v1.0!
Construct user Mary Jane has put together this fantastic promo video for Construct, showing some snapshots of one of her games under development as well as some clips from other creations from the Construct community.
